11 October 2008	Best in Show # 2 for Fudge It was such a thrill to see Ch Kanibaru Caramel Fudge be awarded Best in Show for the 2nd time at the Basenji Club of NSW Specialty. It was an excellent day for my Basenjis with judge Mrs Elina Tan-Hietalahti (Finland) awarding them highly from 137 entrants. 4 Oct 2008	Best Exhibit in Group Perth Royal Ch Kanibaru Vanilla Fruche had a delightful win at the 2008 Perth Royal with Best Exhibit in Group under judge Mrs Lena Stalhandske (Sweden) (photo coming)
17 Sept 2008	Runner Up Best in Show Fruche Ch Kanibaru Vanilla Fruche is awarded Runner Up Best in Show from Junior Class under judge Mr S Wailes (Vic) at the Hound Club of WA Championship Show. Two Gorgeous Puppy Boys Available (both now sold) Buttons boy 1 photo above. A very nice pup with superb balance and movement. Lovely head and type. Available to a show home. Lovely easy going temperament. Buttons boy 2 photo above. Another gorgeous Buttons/Razer pup superb head (dark almond eyes, thick black eyeliner, lovely proportions). Super rich red coat. 10 Sept 2008	3 New Champions!! Firstly congratulations to Nicole in Germany on Sky becoming a German Champion. De Ch (VDH) Kanibaru Vibrant Skies. Well done girls, this is a first for Kanibaru Basenjis! Young Fruche and Evita have become new Australian Champions *Ch Kanibaru Vanilla Fruche and Ch Kanibaru Del Evita!! Evita had another great result Sunday 7th September with Runner Up Best Exhibit in Group from Junior Class at the 40th Anniversary Ladies Kennel Club of WA Championship Show under judge Mrs D Baillie (Vic).
1 Sept 2008	PUPPY AVAILABLE I have a show quality red & white male puppy from dam Kanibaru Tiramisu Trifle and sired by RBISS, SBOS, BIS Ch Kanibaru Visual Touch. This puppy has beautiful balance and is a very nice mover. He has a level back, good shelf and his tail is curling nicely already. His markings are very even and he has a lovely temperament. Expressions of interest are welcome.
24 August 2008	Congratulations to Tero, Nikko, Satu and Saara on Kira Kanibaru Vanilla Sky getting her first certificate towards her Finnish title. This was Kira's 2nd show and she has received two nice critiques from them. Kira's page will become live soon, check back for updates. Good news also from America as Sydney Am Ch Kanibaru Khybers Pride has been hip tested OFA Good. I have received some lovely photo's from Germany of Sky Kanibaru Vibrant Skies and her offspring so check back for an update to Skies page. Sky may also be a new German Champion, her owner is checking her certificates. At home Evita Kanibaru Del Evita attended the Spitz Club of WA Open Show and was Runner Up Best in Show!
5 August 2008	Evita Kanibaru Del Evita had a super first show back after a 3 month break. Mr W Egan (SA) awarded her BOB and R/up Best Exhibit in Group from Junior Class at the Metropolitan Kennel Club. Uploaded a photo taken on the day to her new page.

22 July 2008	Asti's pups have just turned 6 wks and photo's are up in the photo diary under Puppies. Kanibaru Vanilla Fruche was Best Puppy in Show at the Winter Festival under judges Mr P Machen (Canada) & Mr C Saevich (Arg)
19 June 2008	I've been approved to become a trainee judge so will begin hopefully this year or beginning of next year starting with the Hound Group. I'm really looking forward to this.
15 June 2008	More Kanibaru Puppies!! Buttons surprised me with an earlier than anticipated whelping of her babies this evening. She also surprised me with number as I thought she was perhaps carrying 2 or 3 but she whelped 5 babies. She had 3 red & white boys, 1 red & white girl and 1 black & white girl. Proud sire is Razer Ch Kanibaru Visual Touch. My lounge is now a nursery of grunts and squeals! Both mums and babies are all doing great. Show & Pet enquires are welcome email davina@kanibaru.com
10 June 2008	Kanibaru Puppies!! Asti has a lovely litter of 5 puppies. Two black & white males, two red & white males and one red & white female. Proud sire is Cuffy Ch kanibaru Debonair Ego Photo's to come.
7 June 2008	NEW CHAMPION - Mimi had been sitting on 99pts since this time last year when she was last shown and won the Group. Well she's back on holiday with me whilst her owners are in the US and so I took the opportunity to finish her title. Now Mimi is Aust Ch Kanibaru Khybers Kiss making this litter a truly international one as her two brothers titled overseas in America and NZ. Brother Lukas has just sired a litter of 5 pups for Christine of Senjabi Basenjis - New Zealand.
11 May 2008	BEST PUPPY IN SHOW - BACK to BACK for Kanibaru Vanilla Fruche at the Autumn Double Header judges were Ms G Alexander (Vic), Mr W Usherwood (USA) and Mr R Greer (NZ). Ms Alexander really liked Fruche awarding him R/up to Best Exhibit in Group from Puppy Class.
28 March 2008	PUPPY OF THE DAY for Kanibaru Del Diamante at the Sydney Royal Show - judge Mr S Sinko (Solovia). This is Delta's last show for some months whilst owner Kylie takes a break from showing.
21 March 2008	BEST IN SHOW for Kanibaru Del Diamante at the Basenji Club of NSW Open Show from Minor Puppy Class!! The judge was Mr J Walker.
3 March 2008	BEST MINOR IN SHOW awarded to Evita Kanibaru Del Evita at the Western Classic by judges Alsina (Arg) & Ericsson (Swe).
23 February 2008	R/UP BEST IN SHOW at the Basenji Club of Victoria Specialty. Young Fruche took this honour from Puppy Class age 7 months! Fruche Kanibaru Vanilla Fruche is the only son of Ch Kanibaru Caramel Fudge herself a Best in Show Specialty winner in NSW. Fudge not only did well with her progeny but she was also awarded Reserve Challenge Bitch. Some more excellent results worth mentioning are Fruche Best Head (Male). Vanilla 3rd Place Australian Bred Bitch, well liked by the judge Mr Ben Reynolds-Frost. Evita Kanibaru Del Evita also had a terrific show being awarded Best Minor Puppy in Show!
