Sky at 8 weeks

Sky is exceptionally elegant and feminine with fine bone and finely pointed features.  She displays ample fine wrinkles, well set hooded ears and dark almond eyes.  I love her well laid shoulders which blend her neck into a super level back.  Lovely level croup and excellent tailset with a nice little shelf.  Skies hindquarters match her front angles producing a well balanced bitch with an easy flowing gait.  She has superb proportions being square but with the required high on the leg appearance from her long foreleg.   She's a real lovebug in the home jumping up for cuddles to be close and such an easy going well behaved character like her littermates.  Sky is another little beauty from this litter who would do well in Australia but is destined for a new life in Germany with special Basenji friends Skudo and Paloma.  Her new owner Nicole Braeuer of Shadows of the Congo is very excited about Skies arrival and will have fun exhibiting her in Europe  Sky has already shown us that she has a bidding show career ahead of her with 3rd Place in the large Puppy Class (19 entries) at the Basenji Club of NSW Specialty this October.  Sky was superbly handled by Jodie Delacourt and took to her new handler like a duck to water as you can see in the photo above.

22.04.2006 - Lingen  critique:- youth class: Very beautiful r/w dog, which moves already excellently. Excellent eye color. Correct.dentures, excellent formation of wrinkles. Best neck length, firm back line, very beautiful bones, paws and bending. Surely more ger. Rod runs more routinier, quickly and with best Raumgriff.

22.04.2006 - Lingen critique:- youth class: 10 months old young dog, typical head. Expression-full mandelfoermige somewhat diagonally angles. Eyes. Well getr. Ears. Very good anatomy. Beautiful line and bending. Moves very well. Good hair dress and nature.

judge Dr R James (UK) critique:- Promising red and white girl with great appeal in head, eye and expression.  Nicely put together but as yet not quite the same overall balance of the winners.
