Sydney was quite the clown as a little puppy with his numerous playbows and zips around the floor.  When his brother and sister went to their new homes he and his litterbrother Lucas were inseparable.  They spent the following weeks together until it was time for Sydney to leave for America.  Sydney and Lucas were my constant shadows, they followed me everywhere and had a great deal of freedom as I knew they were always right on my tail.  Sydney is co-owned in America by the DeFlorio's and Pamela Geoffroy and is also to be used at stud by Laurie Stargell of SkyHi Basenjis who will intergrate his lines in with Kissy's in the future.  Currently Sydney lives with Pam at Eldorado Basenjis in Massacheutts and will be exhibited by Pam in the Eastern States.  Sydney was known as Teddy as a baby because he was such a cuddly Ted Bear.  He had a very appealing head and expression as a pup and a orange/red coat colour.  In type he very much reminded me of his grandsire Blade.  I hope that his new American family will get much enjoyment from Sydney and of course I wish them well with him in the show ring and hope he can give them some fun times ahead.
