had a super time at the

2003 BCONSW Championship Show

On the ninth of October the "Virgin" aircrew

Welcomed five puppies from Kanibaru

They were off to the "Specialty" in New South Wales

To meet up with the nation's best curly tails

It is Australia's biggest Basenji occasion

Which this year sustained a Western invasion

There were babies Zeta, Demi and Cuffy

Who were only little, so the trip was a toughie

Then came Razer and Milo, being quite bold

For after all they are nine months old

Milo, with the adults, won "Best red and white coat"

Which started them off on a very high note

"Best red and white baby coat" went to Zeta

If she goes on like this she will be a world beater

"Best tri baby coat" was the very next class

Sister Tara won that, the beautiful lass

Milo couldn't wait when it came to "Best gait"

She was sure she would be a good candidate

By the way she moves, she should get a good score

And finished up in the final four

It's a good job she didn't let it go to her head

For Razer came in with "Best Interstate Bred"

 hey returned to the West with a very warm glow

For sister Tara was awarded "Best Puppy in Show"
