'Celeste'

Celeste a mother to be

We've admired Celeste since she was a baby puppy with her quiet disposition and elegant look.  She has a superb red coat, nice short back, feminine head with dark almond eyes, black pigment and little ears.  So I was privileged when I was allowed to lease Celeste for a litter in 2002 as she has qualities which I felt important to the breed.  When I was later offered Celeste in exchange for one of her pups I gladly accepted.  I then popped her back in the show ring to finish off her championship as I felt she was deserving of this title.  Celeste is a very affectionate basenji and just loves to be stroked and massaged. 

Quote from Basenji breed standard: General Appearance - 'Lightly built, finely boned aristocratic- looking animal, high on leg compared with its length, always poised, alert and intelligent'.

Health Information: She has no Inguinal or Umbilical Hernia's.  Her eyes have not been tested.
