'Khamu' |
Puppy Khamu with her human grandma at the Winter Basenji Club Fun Day 2003 |
It really is true that big personalities come in small packages. Khamu was the last pup to open her eyes but that didn't prevent her from being the first to walk around the litterbox. Khamu was such an adorable baby with the sweetest face and eyes that said 'pick me up, cuddle me and love me' at every opportunity. Khamu was very human orientated and instantly loved by everyone. We called her 'little spot' as she was the smallest of the litter and had a little black spot on her white chest. Little Spot was such a special girl to us that she had to have the perfect home so Carol and Kai were over the moon when they were chosen to be her human parents. Of course, Khamu or Khamuddles (short for Khamu cuddles) as I call her loves being the centre of attention and continues to melt the hearts of everyone she meets. To quote Carol 'she is extraordinarily friendly with people', 'EVERYONE is absolutely smitten with her', she is such a sociable little dog - she just wants to meet and be loved by everyone.' 'people who just wanted to stop us to tell us how amazingly cute/beautiful/adorable/wonderful/all of the above our little Khamu is.'
Needless to say we are VERY proud of little Khamu.
Health Information: She has no Inguinal or Umbilical Hernia's. Her eyes will not been tested. She has been sterilised.
