Photo Diary of Asti's pups week 6

14 February 2003 (Day 36)
All crashed out after a play session.
15 February 2003 (Day 37)
Here the pups are having a great time tearing around the garden so trying to get a non blurred photo is difficult these days.  Their tails are all curling the same side at the moment.
16 February 2003 (Day 38)
Last night one of the pups was crying and running around the pen clearly trying to find a place to do poo's but I could see how reluctant he was to do it anywhere in the pen.  So I picked him up and took him to the lawn where he went straight away.  Got back inside and one of the girls was crying, so took her outside and she did the same.  This morning I could hear one crying and I shouted to Chris that it needed to go toilet and he took the boy outside where he produced the goods immediately.  Chris got back in and the girl cried so he did the same with her.  Basenji pups like to be clean and although they don't mind doing wees in the tray or on paper they are reluctant to soil their pen.  Looks like toilet training is going to get very busy.
17 February 2003 (Day 39)
Bottoms up!
This photo was taken by grandma Purr - who tells me the pups were standing still but by the time the camera clicked they were both on their way so it just caught this charming shot of their bottoms!
18 February 2003 (Day 40)
Action/Play - Auntie Chloe playing with the pups.  She plays beautifully with them.
19 February 2003 (Day41)
This is our adorable 'little spot', the 4th born girl and referred to as little spot because she has a small black spot on her chest.  She is so like her mum Asti as a pup.  She's very smart, affectionate and playful and she reminds me of a little kitten just like when we first got her mum.  She only has to look at us and she melts our hearts.

20 February 2003 (Day42)
This little lady has flopped out after a play session, she is the 5th born girl.  She has the curliest tail of the litter so far.
